THE PRE-TEST RESULTS
The pre-test is to imagine McDonald’s type toys but few hundred years to medieval age in 3 minute time limit.
Most ideas in that time limit were popping up in my head because of shows and movies I had seen as a child through adulthood. Examples of this would be Game of Thrones, Dragon Slayer, Excalibur, Merlin, Arthur, etc. I find it very interesting that the context of my visual representation of history comes though in media manipulation of historical facts.
So before I digress further, here is the list I could think of in 3 minutes. I find it amusing, that soon after I started thinking of other medieval toy ideas. These include dolls, corn, wheat, beer, mead, mugs, cheese, kilts etc.
- Sage
- Sword
- Shield
- Staff
- Dress
- Jester balls
- White face make-up
- Mace
- Iron Maiden – First the band then the torture device smiling
- Jousting pole
- Tent
- Chain mail
- Felt shoes
- Jewels
- Gold necklace
- Horse
- Wool tunic
- Thyme
- Round table
- Knights
- Squire
- Cauldran
- Dirt
The cool thing about this pre-test or any test is that the ideas and answers will be different for everyone. If you feel so inclined try it yourself.
As I’m reading my CBC book daily and getting to start the exercises; I’m hoping to see a change in ideas, quantity and possible quality.
Update:
I want to keep myself busy, occupied and come up with creative ideas.
